First Day of Math Class...

So I went into my first class today (also my first day of math) in college and it was really odd feeling. There was only one other guy at the time and female after female of all ages were coming in over course of about 15 mins. Then this one chick came in and sat next to me :D. Well no communication, let alone any eye contact, until the professor told us to introduce ourselves to people next to us. This class isn't desks, its literally tables so there's nothing between you and neighbor. It's as the following. I'm the x, she's the o. The -'s represent seats not worth noting.

Anyway, after we introduced ourselves, we talked for a good 5 mins while prof. was letting us get to know our classmates. Well, summed up, I kept her happy the whole class time and I'm thinking she can be like a study buddy. I understood pretty much all the shit the prof. tried explaining and I don't think she did. And if study buddies is it, I'm cool with that cause she seems down to earth (unlike everyone else in class). How do I go about getting something to work outside of class? And I won't see her again until next Thurs class. :(

im sorta in the same predicament as you are... strangely enough, it is math class... but i dont see her till wednesday. other than that, we're in the same boat.

what is your college living setup? are you in dorms? renting a place? or commuting? what about her?
