You don't know if she's straight or not, right? So I think you should just ask to hang out with her sometime, as friends. Just begin talking to her about softball or something and try to get some time alone with her. Then go from there and see if she responds to you well. Maybe bring up lesbian topics from there. It'd be a bit weird if you just start talking to her about your girlfriends...
