I honestly think that whole scandal was blown up way too much. I agree it was insulting, but not insulting enough to create a media frenzy for MONTHS.

Heck, even Oprah dedicated like a week of shows to 'Black Empowerment'.


I never really viewed african american's as having nappy hair. That wouldn't be an insult if I had to say something mean to one. It would be so much easier to just say "look at those slaves playing bball", or "they mustve eaten a lot of KFC to play that good!". Now that is racist.

I think that was just an excuse for the black community to get all angry and yell about their lack of rights and equality (even thought I believe it is still a problem).

If a black radio personality had called some white group "curly headed faggots" the curly hair wouldn't be the main insult, the faggots would be. Why did they make such a big deal about the nappy hair? It's bullshit.

P.S. I'm not a racist by any means. Obama '08.
