stop banning so many people with the 'sexual predator' reason

in reality the vast majority are just horny teens, while 'sexual predator' might be a strictly technically correct term, it really gives the wrong message.

as much as i dont seriously give a fuck about this site

calling some stupid 16 year old kid a 'sexual predator' could be potentially very damaging and really is used out of context.  

its fair to use the term in extreme cases where it appears like a much older person is soliciting sex in a serious manner

I disagree, here's why. I found one member actually requesting sexually explicit photos of a member on a brand new account on more than one occasion. I reported them and they were banned. In this case clearly the sole intention was for attention and to solicit noods. Considering either way it's against the guidelines why not ban them? It's not like they're bringing anything useful to LiveWire.

They're still sexual predators, they're looking for sexual photos or relations of young girls/boys. So what, we should water down the word and be politically correct to give a different image? Maybe if they see that they ban those sexual predators they'll be happy they ban them on here and feel slightly safer.

Usually they're teens, though. When teens seek nude photos of other teens, it isn't called being a 'sexual predator'. It's not watering it down either, it's just plain fucking stupid.

We ban people for sexually predatory behavior, which is what many of these silly horny teens have. But we can't ban people as sexual predators because to be a sexual predator you actually have to be convicted first. We had a case where someone threatened to sue because they thought we called them a sexual predator. (lulz)

So if someone is actually banned with reasoning 'sexual predator' it was pretty dumb statement.

I don't see a problem with switching sexually predatory behavior with something like 'continued to try and solicit sexual material' or something thereof, it's really an euphemism though.
Maybe I could use "inappropriately horny" as a DoSS, that would be funny.
