My mum has just told me she has this friends whose sister has a 3 year old. Someone has called social services b/c the 3 year olds mum keeps feeding her sweets constantly and crisps and junk food and so the 3 year old is very overweight. I am not sure what has happened or what will happen.

I think she needs better parenting techiniques, but that's not a reason for social services to get involved. I hope they just make her take parenting classes or something. It's not right to take away a kid just because its fat
