Absolutely.  You have to understand the GOP was (and hopefully will be again) the party of the big tent where it isn't what you are but what you believe that makes us kin.

I'd have voted for many women, their gender has nothing to do with it - their ideals do.  Palin isn't perfect but shes as close as we are likely to come in a nation where party politics are everything.  Truth be told - I'd rather her be the Presidential choice and I've been a Republican for 15 years.
