So I don't know how to get certain clips from videos that I want to make a compilation video. What I mean is say I saw something with a clip I wanted on youtube, how do I download it so I could use it in my editing program?

Samantha, rarely any sites any more let you just straight download it to your computer, it's all like youtube.

• Go to this site, and paste the URL of the Youtube video in question. Choose the format you want Zamzar to convert the video into.  Enter your e-mail address, and wait about 5 minutes.  
  
• Zamzar will send you a link to the captured video, in the chosen format.
  Go to the link.  The video should download, already converted to the appropriate format.
