I know that Hofmann ingested LSD hundreds of times before his death. He studied morning glory, psilocybin mushrooms, and salvia as well. While I don't have any sources stating directly that he tried these substances (because I'm too lazy), given how he studied LSD one can infer that he took these as well.

I remember reading that for his 100th birthday they opened a vault which had LSD from the 60's or so an celebrated

Anyway he did use it all his life and died at the age of 100 so thats proof of what little bodily damage it does
