Does anybody know if Albert hoffman was a regular user of LSD, or any other psychoactive drug?

I know that Hofmann ingested LSD hundreds of times before his death. He studied morning glory, psilocybin mushrooms, and salvia as well. While I don't have any sources stating directly that he tried these substances (because I'm too lazy), given how he studied LSD one can infer that he took these as well.

I remember reading that for his 100th birthday they opened a vault which had LSD from the 60's or so an celebrated

Didnt he take one last hit as he died? I believe I read that somewhere but I cant remember.

Anyway he did use it all his life and died at the age of 100 so thats proof of what little bodily damage it does
