I heard all those things also, but I've also heard that's mainly from people using already ground nutmeg. Someone told me if you get an actual fresh nutmeg, grind it up yourself, and there's some way you have to bake it or something, then eat it (smoking burns up and wastes whatever it is in there that gets you "feeling good") then you, well like I just put it, start "feeling good" but like 5 hours later. I don't really think it works, if anything, that well, and definitely don't think it's worth it. Headaches and nausea are common, days after you do it too.
