i am catholic.ok so basically from what ive seen in my church and bible (from what ive read)i can be the biggest asshole in the world then just repent when im old and ill go to heaven? because god forgives people right?

um yes and no, you have to actually want for giveness for your acttions and change your ways after you confess, otherwise its like your mocking him, and it has no real meaning

With what sort of attitude would you be doing all of these things? With the attitude of, "Oh, I can just repent on my death bed, I'll be fine?" Because that's not true repentence.

How about if you don't get to be old or don't have the opportunity to repent? Our existence on this earth is not a specified length of time. And the final moment may come unexpectedly.
