today would be my fifteenth day of not making myself throw up.  Day fifteen.  thats an accomplishment, right?  everyone keeps saying they are so proud of me.  i've gone from throwing up 10 times a day to 9 months of sobreity, a 2 week relapse, and then today.

im on meds (prednisone) for hives/allergic reaction + poison ivy.  its making my appetite crazy and also making my keep water weight.  i know it'll go away once i finish but its driving me crazy.

i want to make myself throw up SO BAD.  the only people i could tell are asleep right now; i tried calling them.  i dont know what to do.  i know i shouldnt thow up, i dont even WANT to, but at the same time, i do.  ughhh.

Look, I have been on Prednisone before for same thing, (bad asthma and allergies) and it does make you crave food big time. You need to tell yourself no, and not give in to the urge to eat all day long, because that is what it will make you do. You have gone a long way from what you have said in your topic, and that is awesome. Congratulations. But just try to stick to light stuff when you feel hungry such as grapes, or any type of fruit. Eat your regular meals like breakfast, lunch, and dinner but sorta snack on fruits and light stuff inbetween.

I am tempted to type out a very condescending post, but maybe you have issues I may never understand that is leading you to want to make yourself throw up........, so perhaps I'll do the less ignorant of the two and ask, "Why do you make yourself throw up to begin with?  Does the medicine really get to you?"
