Here is my issue: {Just as a disclaimer, I am very, very smart, just high unmotivated.}
Alright, I'm a junior this year. This is the year that matters according to everyone. I just found out that I failed Pre-AP Algebra 2 for the second time. I guess I'm just going to take summer school but I am really really worried that I'm not going to get into a good college.

I'm not the type that wants to pursue anything 'academia' oriented. Especially not math. I think I want to be an interior designer or something else art based like that. Anyways though, I realize that I need to get into a good school in order to be in a nice design program.

My main questions = Should I take another math class this year? I can take Pre-AP or regular Pre Calc. Or, I could not take it at all. And also, what do you think? Can I still get into a good college? Or kick ass somewhere small for a few years and then transfer?

I'm not the type to worry about grades but I'm kinda stressed.

You should be able to get interior design at a less academic-oriented school.

And not to make you feel bad, I passed Algebra II Pre-AP in 8th grade. And I'm also smart but unmotivated.

Ugh, math.  I don't recommend taking it again.  It is apparent that you struggle with advanced math (don't feel bad about it, math is an extremely hard subject, I also struggled with it in high school).  If you don't HAVE to take it and aren't interested in the subject, I say just don't take it.  It won't do you any good to fail another class.  Math isn't all that required for interior design, anyways.  Besides, if you end up doing math in college for a little while, you can stick with the easier math courses to get those math credits.

You're so fucking annoying.

Anyways, thanks to the two of you with useful responses.
