Ok, so on a normal weekend, i spend most of my time with my girlfriend...we don't go out to the bars or anything like that, we usually go to a movie or do something else fun, but this weekend my girlfriend was out of town... So I hung out with a bunch of my other friends that i normally don't get to do things with because i'm with my girlfriend. I HAD A BLAST! I went to a bar where some friends were playing in a local band, I went bowling, and I hung out with friends till like 2 in the morning! (I normally don't get to do any of those things)
But the only problem is now my girlfriend is pissed at me because I had fun without her! Ridiculous, right? While I was at the bar, my gf texted me and said "I'm glad to hear your having so much fun without me." (she was obviously sarcastic) and I said right back "well, you're having fun too, right?" I don't see any reason why I shouldn't get to have fun while she's not here!
Later she asked me why I had such a problem being in my room alone. I told her I didn't have a problem with that, it's just that my friends called me and wanted to so stuff, so I wasn't going to say no! I think its absolutely ridiculous that she expects me to sit in my room on my ass and wait for her to call. I'm not going to do that.
I am a very social person and she isn't, and that's why we get into most of our arguments...
I made sure that throughout the weekend I was reminding her that I loved her and that I was thinking about her/missing her (you can gag if you want) but apparently that wasn't enough.
Please agree with me and tell me that I didn't do anything wrong...I just had a good time and she really has no reason to be mad at me.
