Well let me start of by saying I am leftist and I wanted to pay respects to Kim Sung of North Korea. So I knew my parents enjoyed vacationing in China alot so I pushed the idea on them that " Hey you want to visit North Korea".

It started with the opinion of " Never".

Then after time it turned into a yes.

We got set up for a little tour from South Korea. The bus takes you into North Korea via the DMZ.  

Your constantly watched. It isnt a bad thing either because its for your own personal safety.

We'll we visited areas which are designated for Tourism.   You can not go anywhere alone in North Korea being a traveller which is disappointing to the fact that I wouldve loved to visit up north.

At the final destination we arrived in a very intresting area.  Kim Jong il and Kim Sung both have statues. In respect I took a little bow to the statue.

Thats when we went home we'll not home but back to south korea.

I deffinately plan on going back via tourist bus but unforunately I must wait til I turn 18 to visit again.

I can tell my kids one day I went to one of the most secretive nations in the world.

For a third world country ive got to say. Thats quite amazing.

Kim Jong il has sucsesfully created what hes dubs a Stalinist country.
I think his father was not as bad as him.

Oh yeah and in the tour you can get in trouble for talking to Citizens.

Its intresting that South Korea hasnt been taken over by the North.
