It's been kind of overwhelming; everyone's pretty much really friendly, but i guess i've never had to socialize 24/7 basically and it's hard for me lol. My roommate is really social and likeable & while I think i am pretty likeable, compared to her, i feel like i don't measure up. i feel like we meet people together because school started last week & we don't know many people, but everyone that we meet seems to like her more lol. I kind of want to get out my shell, but it's a lot harder than i thought. helpp

Yeah it is really hard. And it does suck having to socialize 24/7. I'm in the same position as you except my roommate fucking sucks.

Look, these people are all new. They do not know you. They do not know you are a shy person. So what is stopping you from changing? There's nothing. You could come totally out of your shell the next day in class and nobody would even notice anything, they'd just think it was the normal you, like that's who you are

thankss for the advice & i'll try, but i don't think it's that easy. it's just so overwhelming lol cause i have classes that already started :(
So what? Everyone's still warming up, and I mean EVERYONE. You dont take the chance now, you're gonna miss the time to do it, because in a few months time, everyone will already know who they're with and who they're not with
