How do you know what sexuality you are?

Gay, straight, and bisexual are all labels. They are subjective terms society brings to try to classify. It is human nature to do so. Basically, you aren't specifically one or the other.

You don't have to classify yourself one way or the other. It's not like having brown hair and blue eyes. It isn't like your height. Sexuality is subjective, and is personal to each individual, and what they like.

That is a psych point of view.

just because you can't see yourself in a relationship doesn't mean you're totally straight. bisexuality is hardly ever a perfect 50/50 split.

It's good enough for me.  I'm happy with a guy, and have a hard enough time getting along with girls on a friendship level, I don't think I could stand to be in a relationship with them.  On top of that I'm not at all turned on by lesbian porn, bi porn, not even gay porn.

That's good enough for me, so I'll stick to being straight, thank you.

IMO:

Gay, straight, and bisexual are all labels. They are subjective terms society brings to try to classify. It is human nature to do so. Basically, you aren't specifically one or the other. You are a teenager going through stages of your life that cause very imbalanced hormones. This means your sexual desires and tastes aren't really developed.

You don't have to classify yourself one way or the other. It's not like having brown hair and blue eyes. It isn't like your height. Sexuality is subjective, and is personal to each individual, and what they like.

That is a psych point of view.

Oopsies. That was one of my posts from another topic. I didn't read it all the way through again. I meant to edit it more. I got caught.  

What I mean is, it's my opinion that you don't have to label yourself as something. You determine what you like in a person, but labels are social. The words "gay bi, and straight" are social constructs to try to classify the biological attractions and sexual preferences. They can be blanket terms at times, and you don't need to have a stamp on your forehead saying "bisexual" because not everyone's interests and desires can be blanketed by a word.  I hope I clarified.  I've had a long day.

I was in no way trying to tell you you couldn't determine anything for yourself.
