My boyfriend and I took a nap right before he brought me home, and I can't really think that I was asleep. I mean, I KNOW I was because I woke up a few times, but....
When I was asleep, my dreams and thoughts were as if I was still lying there awake in his bed, trying to fall asleep. Does that make sense?
