I'm looking to get a cisco ip phone or two just so i can get some idea of voip. Any one have some advice on going that route and other things I would need besides just the phones??

A decent broadband connection, a decent router that does what's called QoS and a hell of a lot of patience!!!

I have the cisco gear but I don't know what I need .
I have catalyst 2900 switches some with fiber optic 100basefx six cisco routers 2500's and 2600's and one 3600 series
I would like to be able to have a phone system in my room to get started with cisco voice even though i'm not even there with ccna
