Proposal: An option in user settings to hide specific forums completely, both in the forum list, and for topics in said forums to be hidden in Fresh Topics.

Or better yet, we can just get the option of hiding it.

That option would make LW a much more straightforward website. A few options to make for a more minimalist user interface goes a long way in making people stick around. When all they see is topics of interest, the quality of the site in their mind goes up. When you have all this "nigga that black people this, whitey, gook, PREGGO, rape" shit and it doesn't relate, you feel like you're inundated with garbage. Because you are.

It's beyond me, damn. You've done a good thing, haha. This is an amazing idea; I don't want to scroll through all the bullshit forums I have zero interest in. It'd be nice if we could choose which topics we specialize in so that we can provide the best support possible within those areas, instead of being all over the place and deciding to not really care about anything because it's so overwhelming. Greaaaat suggestion, hope somebody follows through.
