i had quite a time in ireland but sounded dumb at a dinner party and was stuck for a comeback other than "well shit" when an irishman told me that america was the sewer of the universe. i  think i may have called him a Mick.

Literally there are no public bathrooms in Ireland. You have to piss your pants or squat in a field or by tokens for some greasy "toilet." They call say can I buy tokens for the toilet. It's sick. And their toilets most times don't flush! Unlike in America when a toilets broke it gets fixed and you don't have to buy tokens or be a patron to use a toilet. Why can't I talk back fast?
