Okay, so I just put Ubuntu on my old computer that crashed a while back. Anyone know how to change the screen resolution? This is WAY too small for me D:

Also, I'm new to Linux, and Ubuntu, so I'm still learning D:

I'll look into it, thanks.

I hear a lot about Ubuntu, and mainly I just downloaded it because I want to mess around, seeing as this is my old crappy computer :P

But why congrats? o_o

Ah, I'm not getting a new computer or anything, I already have a new one and I love it (Even if it has Vista -_-) I'm just messing around with my current computer. It's decent, so eh.

Also, I really have no idea how to change my resolution. I looked through the link, and I'm just confused ]:

There will be a tool for changing the resolution, probably somewhere in the System menu, if you have that.

Only edit your Xorg.conf file as a last resort, really. You shouldn't even need to edit it.

I just found that, but it's already at the highest it can go; 640X480

That's painfully small ]:

Ahh, then you will need to edit your xorg.conf file, your screen has not been correctly configured.

Follow the instructions here, step by step:
