I'm on a roll today. I've made a lot of rants, because I have nothing else to do. Anyways.
I saw this video on Perezhilton.com, where the ladies from the tv show The View, were discussing Jesse Jackson's supposed use of the N-Word towards Obama.

^It's about half way down the page, I believe.
This is what I have to say on it.
Black people:
-Stop using it, just stop. There is no justification for using it, there really isn't. Seriously, STOP. You're just bringing down Black people, by using it.
-Realize that racism isn't over, but YOU can help progress race relations, as a race, by refusing to take a victim's stance. Yes, whites have persecueted you in the past. Yes, some still do. Despite all that, ARE you, or ARE YOU NOT going to succeed anyways? That choice is up to you. It's a waste of time to even talk about racism. It may make you feel better to complain, but it's not getting you anywhere.
-Get over yourself.
White People:
-Stop trying to use it. Stop going "Well, why can't we say it?" Why do you need to say it? There are bigger problems in the world.
-Realize that racism isn't over. Some Black people may have victimist attitudes, but do not make the oh-so-common generalization. "Black people need to get over slavery and racism. Racism is almost gone." That is not true. Racism, against Blacks, and especially against others is not gone either.
There are many Black people who don't pull the race card every five seconds, you know.
-Get over yourself.
that's all.
