You wonder why they felt there was no point to their life any more... whether it was to do with you, or someone else you know. The circle of guilt and anger keeps going on.

Suicide isn't like a natural death. It is a tragedy, and one that you are sure could have been prevented.

The suicide of one person can lead to the suicide of another close to them, or nearly to it... such is the pain that it causes.

You miss them so much... and can't help thinking about what must have been going through their mind to make them do that.

It isn't anything like any other death. They CHOSE to leave you and everyone else... but why?

It takes a long time to get over a suicide, if you ever can. You have to come to terms with it somehow... to accept that it wasn't your fault, that you couldn't have stopped it and that it is okay to miss them like mad.

It still really upsets me to think about it, and I do a lot... even three and a half years on.

I don't think anyone can truly understand what it feels like unless they have experienced it themselves.
