Think about it. Hitler was a fool as a tactician and as a leader. He decided to attack his own population, which not only wastes a potential workforce and valuable resource, but you have to spend more on the upkeep of soldiers to do the job, when they could also be needed somewhere else, and the upkeep of the prisoners, which no matter how small it could be, still adds up when we are talking millions. Not to mention, he was killing off his own potential extra soldier reserves, which could've tipped the war in Germany's favor.

In conclusion; from someone who loves Germany.

Hilter was one of the most charismatic leader of his time. In the wake of WWI and Germany's economic meltdown, he was able to reinvigorate his people.

You should really just stick to the "Hilter sucks because he's responsible for the Holocaust" argument. The "bad leader" argument really doesn't work in this case.

Although attacking one's own population in the way Hitler did seems obviously dumb in our view, you must see it from the Nazi perspective. The Nazis tended to regard Jews as Slavs (who were believed to be second class to Aryans) and as communists. It was widely believed in Germany at this time that the First World War was lost due to the Jews and that the Jews would lose them this one if they didn't do something about them - hence, from the Nazi perspective, rounding up the Jews and shipping them off to camps would have seemed necessary and stupid not to do so.

In hindsight and from our viewpoint, yes, very stupid. However, you must keep in mind that there are more perspectives than just your own.

He wiped out almost half the Jewish population of the world through his "final solution".

Soldiers died because they thought they were fighting for the right country.

6 million Jews died simple because they were Jewish

yeh hitler made some pretty stupid errors but his primary goal was to destroy all jews which he made a very large profit from. he used them for slave labour whilst feeding them minimal food and they even worked out the most economical way to kill the jews so that a larger profit was made.

There are things about the holocaust that are certainly worth being skeptical over, and as such, the holocaust should be able to face the skepticism and prevail time and time again.

It's worthwhile reacting to such skepticism not with emotions and judgment, but rather, through clear-headedness and understanding.  Often times, holocaust deniers feel the need to deny the holocaust even more by the fact that they're attacked when they deny it and not given a fair refutation.
