God doesn't exist therefore he couldn't make a riddle he couldn't solve. :]

Thats stupid.

But the " can he make a rock he can't lift " argument is more valid. The OP just sucks.

My friend once thought she disproved god's existence...

This is a direct quote from her:

"OMG i just had an epiphany.

God can't be all knowing and all powerful, because if he could then he could create a sandwich too big for him to eat. But if he did that he couldn't eat the sandwich."

No, God cannot prove that He is NOT all knowing  or NOT all powerful. Only stupid people think of stupid questions like these.

Where's the idea come from that omnipotent means "can do anything" instead of "can do everything"?

omni(all)potent(powerful). Able to do all. Nothing in here suggests that God can do anything that is impossible. So, no rocks he can't lift, no riddles he can't solve, because he can only do everything that's possible.

The end.

Oh I just looked up the meaning of Omnipotence. The definition: Omnipotence (from Latin root Omni Potens: "all power") is unlimited power. Monotheistic religions generally attribute omnipotence only to God.

Not being able to do the impossible is a limit.

Also I have been doing some reading on logic. The quote below is quite interesting.

"If God's thoughts behave according to no logic, then there are no absolutes. It would be possible for god to create a square circle (an all-powerful being that doesn't obey logic would be able to) just as much as any absolute is also obsolete, but this makes a mockery of all our religion, afterlife, lives, thoughts, everything, if this is possible. It means we are completely unable to predict anything of god. It makes god worthless to us, inaccessible."

Also from the same site:

"If "Human logic" is insufficient for metaphysics then debating for the existence of God is silly. Because it is by Human logic, thought and mentality that we arrive at the concept of God in the first place

To say that god doesn't obey logical rules, to say that God could create a round square, for example, is to say that the abilities of god are abilities that cannot logically exist

"Beyond logic" is a synonym for "irrational", and admissions of beliefs that are beyond logic is an admission that such beliefs are irrational and logically indefensible "

He can, yes. But He has given you free will for a reason.

Why does he put his evidence so close to delusion?
A little trial for us, a bit of a challenge, is it? A sieving of souls, a self selection of worthy and unworthy?
