I get on my PS3 today to see what's new in the Playstation store. You know, I want to catch up with the latest demo's and shit. I see a little section that says 'video'. I'm like, "What the hell is this?" It's a place to rent or buy moves.  

I should of really watched E3.

yeh. its like 360 mspoints to rent a movie, like 450 to rent a HD movie. which is like $3-5 i think.

did PS3 never have any kind of movies? or did it at least have trailers and shit?

It had movie trailers, but never movies.

Our Playstation store consist of:

  • Movie trailers
  • Game trailers
  • Game events, such as E3.
  • PS3 games
  • PS2 classic games
  • Arcade games, such as Pain.
  • Game demo's.

    Now a movie rental place. We can even buy movies and put them on our PSP and watch them. I'm stoked.

    well the netflix will certainly make it bigger and more convenient. but you can still rent quite a few movies and tv shows as of now.

    Oh and I forgot to add we also get game add-ons. Like more songs for Rockband, Guitar Hero, and maps and shit.
