Or really do much at all. Like the Bloodhound in your typical redneck's frontyard or something. Unable to be quick and agile.

But a Fila Brasileiro is one of the breeds you probably shouldn't run from, considering how popular they are becoming in protection work, and how rare they are (which can lead you to believe that the people who have them, of them, many do work them in protection and other fields).

And, in Schutzhund.

Which one do you have?
Breeds are my thing. I've got dozens of books that I've finished. The first book I ever read at 4 years old was a book about dog breeds.

My mom knew I was bad news when I brought my first stray home and told her what he was.

lol.

im not positive on the name, i could look for it and tell you tomorrow. but its this big white book with all kinds of history on dog and the breeding that has produced what you see today (which is actually pretty interesting), and then just about every breed for every group. like an encylopedia for dogs kinda.

The Encyclopedia of The Dog by Bruce Fogle?
That's gotta be it. That's the only big white book that I know of. I have that one too.

Those books aren't cheap either.
