"Plus size" models doesn't necessarily mean overweight. Plus size in the fashion world can be anything more than anorexic.
My friend models, and she is a size 6. She is considered plus size.

Overweight models are not obese, they are just overweight and curvier than other models. I think that it encourages people to accept themselves the way they are and doesn't force the idea on people that the only way they can be beautiful is by being stick thin.

Either way is bad. They should be more average weight. That way girls won't be encouraged to have any type of eating disorders.
