I use to love running. LOVE IT. I was then almost raped, and sexually assaulted for 3 years. I took up eating as a cover. I don't even understand it. I'm now a good 40 pounds over weight. I'm short (5'4''), and feel disgusting. I would like to take up running again. I have a treadmill, but I live on the 9th floor, and if I can hear people in the shower, or banging a nail, they can hear me. I would run at night cause no one can see me, but its dangerous around here. 2 weeks ago the store around the corner was held up by a gun. And some guys tried to kidnap a girl 4 nights ago. So, my only real option is running in the day. Now, remember, I'm overweight. So I'm scared people would yell out the window at me and just be horrible. Would you?

seriously, I can care less what you do with your self. If i drove by you and you were jogging, i would just be like, hey someone with the courage to do what I wont. but then again, I Sit here and try to improve my image in hopes that a certian person will notice me.... So I think your alot better then me.

I would commend you for taking that initiative to get yourself back into shape. I seriously think it would be ridiculous for someone to judge you, when they really have no insight towards your personal situations.
