so i made a post i think last night about animal cruelty and i just wanted to say that i don't believe its wrong to eat meat i just don't think they should be tortured and beaten

I'm a vegetarian for precisely that reason. The slaughtering of animals is CRUEL. Yet, I don't entirely support PETA - only because they seem to lean toward Eco-Terriost and resort to violent protests rather than scientific reasons that would be far more effective. Otherwise, I support PETA for what they're trying to do - which is to spread the message that the brutal slaughtering of animals for human consumption is absolutely barbaric.

Meh. I don't see how the way you kill an animal makes it much difference, your still eating a murder victim.
I don't care if someone eats meat. I just wish they had to kill the animal themselves. I hate how people are like "i could never kill an animal" then go buy a hamburger. >_>
