I presented a fact. A fact which I have found several devout Christians to deny. A fact is better than a logical argument set up with citations straight from some text, because you can't argue a fact.

I have no opponent, as you say. I never stated that I don't believe in God, or a god. Take your assumptions elsewhere. I think you should take a second look at what you've posted, realize that by your logic there is no need for a religious forum since atheists will continue to be atheists and believers will continue to believe.

Facts are only useful if you can prove they are facts. And can you prove that the authors of, for example, the Bible didn't have their hands directly guided by God? No. The most you can say is that it's pretty damn unlikely.
