A faithless life does not have to be an empty life. Mine isn't.

I'm not religious and I have good morals. I don't think morals come from our holy books.

I don't hate religion itself. I hate those that use it as a weapon against others, and an excuse. It's thoroughly disgusting.

I'm an atheist now, but something I sometimes miss from Christianity is sermons.  Sermons could be so awesome sometimes.

I'm religious, and I dislike religion - or at least the way in which religion is used.

Your posts make me lol.

As for the title: yes, me.

As for the OP: I think that you're massively over-generalizing and exaggerating. I don't really see religion as that huge of a tool of control in our society, and while some religions certainly are controlling it is to the end of the said religions and I honestly don't believe in denying people the right to enter into such a social relationship. Your post pretty much just seems to address Abrahamic faiths, and even then only very specific manifestations of them. You've left the majority of religion unscathed.

No hope for nothing? ... I have to wonder if you said that on purpose to confuse us, hahahah.

Anyway, can you prove that? Honestly, I have met so many Atheists/agnostics that are much happier and more driven in life than many Christians.
