I don't hate religion itself. I hate those that use it as a weapon against others, and an excuse. It's thoroughly disgusting.

Your posts make me lol. As for the title: yes, me. As for the OP: I think that you're massively over-generalizing and exaggerating. I don't really see religion as that huge of a tool of control in our society, and while some religions certainly are controlling it is to the end of the said religions and I honestly don't believe in denying people the right to enter into such a social relationship. Your post pretty much just seems to address Abrahamic faiths, and even then only very specific manifestations of them. You've left the majority of religion unscathed.
