My great uncle just passed away from cancer this morning, and we've had such a terrible run of luck with his older brother (my grandpa).  He's spent more time in hospitals this year than in his own home.  He was doing incredibly better after he found out his brother was going to be okay for a while...but now I don't know what's going to happen...They're telling him soon, and he had improved SO much.

I have a feeling I'm going to lose my grandpa really soon...Once you find out that your younger sibling has just passed away, and he's the only mouth shutblood family you ha watchve left besides your own children it makes you incredibly depressed and not think you have much to live for.

Let me just say that I'm sorry all of this is happening. It's not easy to lose a relative and then slowly watch another start to fade away as well. I've been there and it's no fun. The best thing you can do is just be there for your grandpa. Shower him with all the love you can possibly give to him and let him know that he's not alone. Watching him slowly decline isn't going to be easy, but being with him will make things better. You'll be able to say that you were able to spend time with him before he passed. I'm sure this is taking a rather huge toll on you and your family. If you need anyone to talk to send me a message anytime.

I love you!

Hey there,

I'm very sorry to hear that your uncle has died. This must be an awful time for you and your family right now. I hope you will be alright with the support from your family and your friends.

Death is apart of life. As much as we would love to be help to stop a relative from dying, we can't. I think that you should spend as much time with your grandfather as you can in the up coming months. I know it will be hard too see him sick but I think that you should be there as much as you can. Spending time with him now, before it is too late, will put your mind at ease. You often hear about people not being there to say goodbye before a relative dies because it was so unexpected, but you have a chance to be with your grandfather now. Try and start today or tomorrow and spend time with him and your family all together. Show him how much you care and love him.

I hope you will be alright.
