How much should babysitters get paid?

I'm almost 17 and I have a bunch of experience with children of many ages. I'm very friendly and fun but also very responsible. I generally cook one meal for the kid{s} and also help them pick up their room if need be. I don't have CPR registration and I don't have my driver's license yet. I am just curious how much you think someone like that should be getting paid and hour for babysitting.

I get paid too much an hour because I babysit some rich woman's four kids.
I could work like 2 hours and make $50.

I'm 15 and babysit for my hairdresser. She has two girls, one is 5 one is 8. I generally come over around five and stay till around 10. I always get 20 dollars, unless she unexpectedly stays out late. She is a single mum, so it's fine she doesn't have much cash.

well im 16 and i have CPR training, but not my lisences. I mkae anywhere from 9-12 bucks an hour. it really all depends on the person your babysitting fors income.

7$ per hr plus 1$ for each additional kid. and i dont recommend babysitting until you get your CPR and first aid certification. cause if the kid is choking, you need to know how to help them. or if they get a concussion. after your certified, id say $9per hr

�10 an hour (which is $20 an hour) seems a little much for your average babysitting job. That's well above minimum wage for a job where you have no training. I'd say between �5-8 so $10-16 p/h

My little sister gets paid like $8 an hour, but I think between 7 and 10 is reasonable. Maybe if you sign up and advertise on something like sittercity.com, you could find some rich family like jsgirl to pay you a ton.
