my 2 best mates (both boys) and me have always hung out together and have been like brothers and have been mates with one of them since three years old and the other mate became our mate at twelve yrs old then I noticed that they were being distant from me. A few months later they tell everyone that their gay and that there also dating and have been for a while.
to be honest I know i should be happy... but I'm just not as they now spend all their time together and I feel left out as they dont bother to contact me or ask me to go out with them
and now they have decided to go to LA to attend uni (college) so they can have a fresh start even though we all planned to go to the same uni
when i'm with them I feel like a gooseberry
I feel like I'm all alone... what should I do? I mean I knew my mate longer and thought we were all close

I think, you just need to give it time. They're in a relationship, and probably like time to them selves. Who knows. You could talk to them about it. Maybe see if they want to hang out at any time. I personally hate hanging with a couple, because I always feel like the 3rd wheel.

shame. you have to understand that this is a big stage and step in their lives and i think all they want from you is to be supportive.
if you guys are as close as you say you are or were, then you should sit them down and tell them exactly how you are feeling. but remember to tell them that you support what they do, and remind them of your plans to go to the same uni!

I know how you feel. Two of my friends did the same thing but they weren't gay (I think).

I agree.

I think you should talk to them and say how you have been great friends for so long and now it's like they don't want to be your friend anymore. They should make time not just for each other but for you and other friends.
