Take her to a Backstreet Boys concert?

To start things off, it's 5am, and I can't sleep because I am too busy contemplating this.

Okay, so I've been dating this girl for about a month now. We live 2hours drive appart, and I don't get to see her all that often, but I do, and the distance isn't too much of an issue.

I've known her for about two months. Before we were dating, I remember when she heard that the Backstreet Boys were coming to the town I live in, and she was all like "OMG I SOO WANNA GO!" Now I don't understand all this hype over them, I mean, they're not THAT bad, but I guess it's just a girl thing. She hasn't mentioned the concert since.

I'm not the richest kid on the block, I JUST got a job again and my first paycheck isn't untill the 31st (concert is on Aug. 2). Needless to say, I have about $15 currently. Although, I am trying to sell my cell phone, which would cover the cost of tickets.

Basically, it comes down to these 3 options:

A) Go for it all. Buy front centre tickets for $225.
B) Be a little cheep, but still go with not so great of seats for $150.
C) Don't go at all.

NOTE: I have not talked to her yet, and if I choose A or B, I will talk to her before buying the tickets.

Thanks for any advice, tips, suggestions, etc.

P.S. This is my first girlfriend, and I've never been to a concert.

Well, I think that taking her to a concert she likes (even if it's the backstreet boys :P) is a great idea.
Make sure you do ask her first, incase there is a problem with the date or something.

Anyway, it seems like you are willing to make sacrifices for her, but I guess you have to decide for yourself how much you need your money- selling your cell phone seems like a pretty desperate move, it's kinda a sucky thing to have to do. If you REALLY REALLY want to treat her, front row tickets are much much much more fun than sucky seating- a totally different experience. that said, it's your money, and you've only known her for 2 months, right?

Hmm you should maybe throw a hint first to see if she's still interested in seeing them or if she's not going to be busy on the concert day. Selling your phone seems pretty extreme to just purchase these tickets alone, phones are a neccesity at times like emergencies. It won't be their last concert anyways, if I were you I'd wait it out for the next but other than that kudos for the sweet gesture you're trying to make, I wish you both the best of luck.

About the phone. I've been meaning to sell it for awhile now. It's been disconnected for several months, and I rarely used it when I had it.

Honestly, I would not spend that kind of money on someone after only knowing them for two months.  To me, that's definately more of a birthday gift for a REALLY good friend.
