After being blown away by the premiere of the Dark Knight , praising it among friends, and then getting home at 6 a.m. I checked reviews that had already been posted at Rotten. I was surpirsed to already see a bad review that said it was nihlistic and it had an extremely negative message because I thought it had a fairly happy ending. However, I saw it again today and I find the review to be true. Albeit I was just as tired as yesterday it's undeniable that the Joker proves his point. Dent loses all hope and becomes two-face. Losing your future wife and family will do that to even the best of people as the Joker seeks to prove. If the Gothamites had found out the whole city would have descended into chaos as the bad guys were released and people lose hope.... I don't think the people on the boat really redeemed the negativity of the movie. The skinny bald guy was too scared to do it anyway. Who wants to be responsible for the deaths of hundreds of people, regardless of their backround? So what do you think? No matter what the point of the movie and its' moral message, I will always give this movie a 10/10 even though it has some stupid action/feat scenes (ie: batpod meets wall, gliding to another building, etc.) Heath was amazing as the Joker and this is by far the best movie of the year so far, imho.
