I'm on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, & I hope I made a good choice with this one. (I've only take three pills so far). what pills have you used, and what were your side affects? also, have you ever gotten pregnant off of birth control?

i use the same one, and its fine, but i think i'm gaining weight because of it.

im on ortho-cyclen and my appetite went WAY up so i ate a lot more i gained weight (i was small so it was needed) my breasts grew and best of all my period is regulated :)

Yes you can.

I don't go on them personally, but my friend who's on them finds that she's put on a bit of weight. She's also not as horny as she used to be (is this the real birth control method? ).

Apparently, it can also make you nauseous. Just one to watch out for.

Birth control isn't 100% preventative.

When I was on the pill (I'm not sure what it was exactly) my main side effect was weight gain.. and period regulation.

I've been on:
Ortho tricyclen (gained lotz of weight)
Cyclessa (gain weight on that one too)
The Patch ( it stuck to my close more than me and I gained weight)
I'm on yasmin now, And I love, I actaully lost weight when I went on this one and my period only lasts like 2 or 3 days. It's awesome IMO.
