When I was 14 I loved a good sleepover with my friends....you know, the usual talking about guys, reading magazines, watching chick flicks, truth or dare, and of course lots of food!

I don't understand why alcohol is so important for a "fun" party. In my case, I feel uncomfortable in an environment where everyone is crazy drunk. But I could just be weird :)

Sounds like fun to me.  I would be uncomfortable if everyone is drunk too.  BTW I'm 13

when i was 14 my parties involved sleeping bags, videos, loads of shit food and giggles. i remember one time we all wanted to have ice-cream with fizzy juice. where i'm from we use a slang name for it (i can't remember what it is right now!) but we all said we wanted one and our new friend thought we were talking about drugs and shit herself.

i'm 19. our parties are very different now. in fact, they were completely different from the above just a year or so later.

No, it wasn't those... hmm, something about "joe" maybe, but I really can't remember (which is SO annoying!). It was just a name for it that people eventually stopped using, though.

I must find out, it's going to do my head in until I do.
