Ugh my mother always tells me these long ass {2+ hour] stories of her younger years, every detail. i get agitated listening to it for too long.. and sometimes she'll tell me stuff and later be like "i didn't say that" so its pretty fucking relentless

When my mother gets into those, I tend to walk away, because I've heard every one of them a hundred times, and quite frankly, I don't have the patience or tolerance to sit there that long and listen to her.
