Kay, I wanted to donate blood when I was like 10 because I wanted to feel like I was being helpful.
Waited 6 years til I was old enough, only for Dad to tell me no because it could be dangerous?!
Now I have to wait another 2 fucking years before I can do it without parental consent.

Its not a bad thing. because it may be that you can get really ill from it if you are 16. because you havent fully developed yet. Your dad is just being protective, there is nothing wrong with that. its just giving blood takes a lot of energy from you!
