Just 40 minutes ago I was in the library cramming for exams. I'm taking summer classes at my college and there was this girl 4 tables across staring at me. So I walked over to her and said this: "Hi, I saw you looking over at me in this library. I thought you might need a study break!" We talked for 5 minutes before I exited out and said "Aight I gotta get back to cramming now. Gonna go before my books get too jealous of us." I did end up getting her number. Okay, I know that girls find confidence sexy. But sometimes I'm not sure if I'm TOO bold or gusty for my own good. I don't want to come across as cocky or anything. So how confident should a guy really be? Would all girls be cool with what I just did?

not every girl. ur lucky it worked on that one! u have confidence and thats good. but some girls wont fall for lines like that. it depends on the type of girl u approach. u did well. just dont make that a habit.

I don't think that was overly confident at all. I think it was just alright. Once, I met a guy when we were hanging out with our friends.. and he took it way too far because he was constantly asking me what I thought about his looks and telling me loads of girls go after him. T.T ugh

i would be cool with it. i like when guys show confidence like that and actually want to have a conversation rather than staring and callin me "hott or sexy " that is so played and annoying .

That was a pretty good way to ask a girl out. As long as you don't blatantly stare or try to hit on her in a really rude way, Then it's fine. It's good that you are worrying about being too aggressive, because then you will be subconsciously limiting yourself.
