i have big calves and i need boots since i'm going up to buffalo for college.  do uggs go by size by feet AND calves or is it just fit or not for the leg??

if not.. does anyone know of boots that fit bigger calves or how much it would cost to cut boots??

Honestly, I think Uggs are short for ugly, for obvious reasons. So, you shouldn't be worrying about wearing them.

Uggs may be ugly, but they are incredibly warm.  Buffalo has very cold, very snowy winters, which WARM boots are perfect for.

My girl has  3 pairs of Uggs, she looks hot in them.
Not all girls can pull off that look.
She's blonde so most stuff matches her, one of my black friends  bought some but she does not look good in them.

i didn't like uggs at first too.  but honestly they're the best looking boots that'll keep me warm when trudging like 9 feet of snow lol.

you should get ones like these-

They have a great tread that will keep you from slipping, and the closers appear to be elastic, which will allow your legs to fit.

Oh, and the leather would most likely be more waterproof than the typical suede ones that girls like to wear.

As far as I know, Uggs are just sized by feet.  I love mine,  they're super warm and regardless of what most people say, I think they're adorable.
