I have a job, and I make around 400 dollars every two weeks.. But it really depends on the Tip Share values. And I need to buy clothes, new school supplies, books, food, and etc in the meantime. I was thinking about selling things, but I'm not sure if that's a possibility.

Okay, if you look at it from the correct perspective, the CD drive ISN'T THAT IPMORTANT. I don't know about everyone else, but I buy my music online, and have no need for a CD drive.

However, the MacBook Air looks nice, but I would really suggest that you spend NOT A DIME MORE and get the MacBook Pro with a bigger screen, 200GB hard drive space, CD/DVD, and is basically the same thing but more awesome (with CD/DVD if you really need that.) $1770 on Amazon.

I love the small size. and $99 isn't bad for an extra disk drive.. and chances are I will have room in my bag for it.. and I do everything wirelessly anyway and rarely use CD's. aaah, What do you think of the Macbook Pro? You are a lucky,lucky boy. I know that also I go to college next year.. and if I buy this Macbook I get a free ipod touch.. did you get that deal ?

Haha, I own a business, so I just paid for it with the money I got from it.

The MacBook Pro is nice, the larger screen is sweet and the extra ports are useful. Overall it's a great machine, but the only main advantages for non-powerusers are the larger screen, larger hard drive, faster processor, and more memory. Chances are that most people here aren't running as many apps here as I am (currently needing to upgrade my computer to 4GB of RAM) so I think you'll do just fine with a MacBook Air.
