I usually don't stereotype people until they know them. I hate that "Black girls" are considered ghetto/low-life sometimes before people even know them. One of my best friends is black. GTFO if you think that. Also, I work with a lot of people who are black, and they get stereotyped when people walk in the door.. I am a hostess, so yeah..

And If I could find a really cool, intelligent black guy around here I would date him. I have several male African American friends. That does not mean I'm a whore, or White Trash. Thanks. :]

then you are a dumbass.  Everyone has stereotypes and assumptions built in a survival tactic.  Saying you dont believe in them is like saying that you dont believe in thought, or breathing.  You cant NOT have a stereotype, you can only be too much of a PCist to admit it.

As for me, i would stereotype as really loud/obnoixious, just because almost every black person from my school was like that, and despite having friends who are black and not like that at all, it would still be the first thing that i would think.

if I met a black girl I would probably listen to how she talks to see if like she has an  attitude or if she is shy or annoyed.. Just like I would do the same to any other person. then I would feed on their way of talking......


If she has an attitude problem I would be like a little on the defensive side, but not show it.

I really dont like stereotyping. I do catch myself doing it but I correct myself. Now...me classifying someone depends on the person themself. You know? If someones loud and blah blah blah...no they dont go in the "typical black person" or whatever...they go in the loud category...and so on. You know? so its not me stereotyping because I believe its all on the person. But if I do find myself stereotyping anyone I stop as soon as I catch it and correct it.
