It's sort of this wonderful rite of passage. For me it was a major step in growing up, and it was just so empowering.

I guess when I aborted I realised that I had control over my choices and my life. I also felt like I was kind of a woman instead of just a girl for the first time in my life, and that I was a part of this amazing tradition.  

Allah had blessed me, a girl in trouble, with a clean slate. I was forgiven. It really was a great experience.

I don't think so. I think it is a right of choice for those who want to, But I would be guilty forever if I had an abortion. If I had been raped, then sure. but if I had made a mistake, It is my mistake and I would deal with the consequences of such.
