No you're not selfish at all. I'm thinking that he could be having mini-strokes. I'm not sure. I know a woman who used to have mini strokes all the time. The symptoms are very minute but having them a lot could cause twice the damage if he's having them daily.
Here are the symptoms for a mini-stroke:
- Confusion
- Weakness
- Unconsciousness
- Dizziness
Like I said before, I'm not exactly a doctor but maybe he's having those episodes out of confusion from becoming unconscious. I don't understand how they can't get this on a CAT/CT Scan. Did you guys try more than one Neurologist? I think you should. What one Doctor won't find another one will. Mini-Stroke
It could also be an early sign of Dementia.
Dementia is somewhat like Alzheimer's disease, but its a slower(Kind of) process of the deterioration of the Brain. I've also known someone with Dementia.
Symptoms of Dementia
- Memory Loss
- Difficulty preforming tasks
- Changes in Mood
- Disorientation
Dementia
Check for this too.
I don't understand this though, if he's having something like Memory loss a scan should've picked it up. Like I said, try more doctors.
I hope I helped.
Good Luck.
