This may sound really stupid, but its kind of true. I dont mind if you dont think its real, because it most certainly is.
I moved out of my old house a couple of years ago. And everyone in my family suspected that it may be a little bit haunted because one of my sisters had a traumatic event were she got grabbed round the ankle and dragged through the bars of this old bed. But then it got worse, i started having Terrors in this room, where i would dream horrific scenes of which a four year old kid couldnt of come up with especially as id not been vunerable to horror films etc.
but when we moved, it all went fine. i had no nightmares, and everything seemed so normal.
but now, we've still got the iron bed which used to be in the old house, we've noticed things have started to happen. for instance, i slept in that bed a couple of days ago and i felt something heavy against my stomach, making it hard for me to breathe. as i turned over, something hit me on the back, but when i turned on the lights, no one was there.
i was just wondering if Spirits or anything like that can still be with you if you have moved the same furniture, because its similar to when a brick is used out of a haunted house to make a new house, the ghost is able to haunt there too.

Was that bed yours, or had it been left in the house you moved out of by it's previous owner? Because it could have an entity following it, and if that's the case - get rid of it.
