I live relatively close to a Wal-Mart. Easy to get to, 10 minutes away. I work there and know where all the exits/entrances are, so easy boarding up. Pros
~Food, not necessarily an endless supply, but a sweet garden center.
~Weapons, has a gunshop in the back, might not be top of the line, but down the main road a few blocks is a real gun store. Hand grenades and MREs
~Security, once you're boarded up, you're boarded up
~Rooftop, only accessible from the inside, except by climbing. Cons
~Popular, I'm sure many others have this as a #1 plan
~Popular2, more than likely there will be many shoppers inside at a time of outbreak. Extermination is first
~Boarded up, once you're inside, it will be hard to leave, unless you can hotwire a Honda sitting in the parking lot in about 10 seconds.
If this fails, I'll just An Hero.
