Imagine you are working at a job that you've worked at for a few years now. A new law is passed which forces your job description to change. According to this new law you now, on top of your previous duties, have to do things you consider to be wrong.

Do you:

a) Continue your job as it was previously, get your co-workers to trade work with you so as to avoid doing the aspect you consider wrong.

b) Outright refuse to do the new aspects on moral grounds, accept any treatment by the company including dismissal this results in.

c) Outright refuse to do the new aspects on moral grounds, take the company to court for discriminating against your belief system if they fire you or in any way disadvantage or harass you over the issue.

d) Transfer to another job within the company where the new aspects are not an issue, refusing to take a pay cut or loss of opportunities for promotion.

e) Transfer to another job within the company where the new aspects are not an issue, taking a pay cut or loss of opportunity for promotion if it is necessary.

f) Resign.

I'd consider a few of the options.  Also the option where you shoot the legislatures who used the force of government on you and your employer is not listed as an option however it is both the right and the duty of a citizen in a free state to do so.
